Resist dyed with indigo and masking tape, this leather clutch’s previous personality took the form of a beige leather jacket. An outside pocket from the original jacket front panel is carefully hidden underneath the clutch flap. I chose to leave the interior of the flap unlined to provide emphasis on the beautiful suede texture of the original leather. The colorful lining of the purse is re-purposed from another coat.
